Comprehensive Package of Coverages
Physical Loss or Damage - The Yacht policy offers Agreed Value coverage while your Yacht is afloat, ashore and in transit, for accidental direct physical loss resulting from all risk not excluded, as well as salvage charges.

Coverage applies to the Yacht itself and includes machinery and other equipment required for the operation and maintenance of your Yacht. The Yacht Policy also covers losses resulting from a latent defect, excluding the cost of the defective part.

Additional Coverages -Automatically included in every Yacht Policy are comfortable limits for; Medical Payments, Personal Effects, Towing/Emergency Services, Tender, and Uninsured Boater Coverage.

Liability - We offer the highest limits of liability coverage, up to $5,000,000 for qualifying vessels. The Yacht Policy liability coverage will cover you when you're operating your vessel, or vessels owned by others, that you do not rent.

Pollution Liability
Did you know under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90), a Private Pleasure Boater can be held liable for up to $500,000 for accidental Pollution Damage? The Yacht Policy can cover you for accidental spill liability up to $500,000.

Charter Part-time, and/or employed Captain and Crew
Qualifying vessels can purchase coverage for up to twenty charters per year.
Jones Act Liability coverage is available if you employ full time and/or part time Captain & Crew.

Special Gear Coverage
We provide coverage for rods & reels and other personal belongings while aboard your vessel or ashore as well as electronics equipment coverage with a $500 deductible on every Yacht Policy.

Commercial Charter Vessels Program

The Commercial Charter Vessel program is available nationally for the following types of vessels that range from 16' to 50', with up to 18 passengers:

• Sport-fishing Charter Boats
• Nature Watching Tours
• Excursion Vessels

Coverage will be placed with American Home Assurance Company, an admitted member company of American International Group.

All policies will be underwritten and managed by our Yacht department, which ensures fast quote turnaround and accurate timely policy issuance. Additionally, quarterly installments will be provided on a direct bill basis.
